- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★This is a nice provincial park on a big lake, which is rare for the Peace Region. The lake is sometimes not the greatest for swimming, so you have to watch. Overall people seem to swim in Charlie lake regardless. There are some really nice trails around the park as well, which are nice in the summer for hiking and in the winter for snowshoeing or cross country skiing.By Ryan McGuire, December 23, 2016
